met-sac-mos-engA new generation product obtained by combining Saccharomyces cerevisiae yeast metabolites obtained in the controlled fermentation and isolated fragments of cell walls of yeast subjected to micronization with the aim to obtain high levels of mannan-oligosaccharides (MOS), 1-3 and 1-6 beta-glucans, as well as mannose, galactosamine, chitin, galactose and other.
The product is characterized by a high level of total protein – min. 22.0%, lysine – 1.56% and methionine – 0.42% and, mostly, mannan-oligosaccharides – 9.9% and 1-3 and 1-6 beta-glucans – 15.5%.
Saccharomyces cerevisiae yeast metabolites have the following effect:
• Improve feed ration taste and increase ingestion;
• Balance amounts of various bacterial strains in the rumen and facilitate multiplication of cellulolytic bacteria;
• Increase pH of the rumen contents and have a strong anti-acidosis effect;
• Stimulate growth of bacteria which use lactic acid and those which are the source of protein;
• Improve the energy balance, in particular after calving, increasing the level of volatile fatty acids;
• Are the source of B group vitamins and other bioactive substances;
• In cattle, pigs and poultry, they deactivate sporozoites of cryptosporium parvum parasites and coccidial oocysts in the small intestine. The elimination consists in disruption and penetration of the inside of a parasite;
• Visible improvement in digestibility of a feed ration and its better utilization;
• Better reproduction rates;
• In poultry, significant decrease in the number of coccidiosis-causing Eimeria tenella and E.  Maxima.
